The Hi-Top Hoops organization wanted to create an impactful brand that would set themselves apart from other national tournaments with a creative edge that plays on the importance the tournament has for rising youth stars.

By researching the industry and competition, we saw a market that lacked brand consistency and innovative messaging. With the plan for a major push with support from the client's network and years of brand relationships such as Nike and Gatorade, we positioned The Uprising as a fresh new group of tournaments that hit the scene hard with thousands of teams lining up to compete.

With the tournaments mission of showcasing rising stars, the logo and brand messaging were created to tie the idea of the event being more than a game, but a movement. The Uprising was born to reflect an edgy streetwear brand while also making room for individual tournaments in multiple states and venues across the country.
